Parking permits are issued to our residents for parking within the Hill Court complex, and are subject to the restrictions detailed below. Parking spaces are shown in the map to the right.
Street parking is also available via Pay & Display from Mon-Fri, and is free on Sat/Sun. For further information on local public road parking restrictions see Parking on Street.
Messrs. BGS Services Limited of Kingston, are employed to control the parking at the Hill Court development. They have erected the necessary signs on site and the parking control contract has been operational since Monday 22nd January 2007.
Each Resident is issued with a yearly Parking Permit, and this must be displayed in the vehicle parked at Hill Court at all times, the registration of up to two vehicles can be written on the permit provided. This permit can therefore only be used for that vehicle where the registration number matches that on the permit, and if it used for any other vehicle, then that vehicle is liable to be ticketed.
Parking is only permitted in the parking bays/ areas provided, and if a vehicle is parked so as to cause an obstruction to any garage, designated parking areas, or any other location, then it will also be liable to be ticketed, the charge for which is £200, reduced if payment is received within 14 days. If unauthorised parking persists, then the offending vehicle will be liable to be towed away to a safe public highway area, but only once the following procedures have been followed.
If the vehicle is untaxed, the police will be notified and asked if it is registered; if not, then Trespass Notice Penalty charges will be applied and a warning issued that the vehicle will be towed away giving the owner the right to remove the vehicle.
If the vehicle is registered, then tickets will be applied to the car in the normal way for a period of 14 days. If the vehicle is not removed within this period, then the DVLA will be approached for the registered owner's details, and contact will be made with the owner.........
Either way, the Parking Company's solicitors will be consulted at all times to ensure that they are operating within the law.
The cost involved would be £55 plus VAT for each removal, depending on what time has been spent trying to ascertain owners' details; this would be in addition to the normal ticketing charge.
Contractors' permits are available by prior application to, Wallakers Managing Agents, for use by contractors when working at the development. Note, these permits are numbered so that we can keep control on the issue of these, and if for any reason the permit is lost, then replacements are available at a charge of £100 each. Lost or discontinued permits will be liable to ticketing in accordance with the above restrictions if they are used after cancellation. Residents would prefer that contractors use the Works parking bay, if unavailable, then parking is permitted in one of the allocated Residents' bays. Contractors' vehicles are still bound by the rules outlined within this document.
Please ensure that the permit is clearly displayed within your vehicle to prevent ticketing by the company.
